House of Fellowship began in 1977, as the burden of Bro. John Stemen- with the call to “Feed My Sheep”. There was no church building or congregation outside of his own family- but he was faithful to this call by holding services in his home, ministering to his wife and children and witnessing on the streets.
Though the work was transient in the beginning, moving from homes, warehouses and storefronts, to accommodate a growing congregation, the vision never wavered. In 2009 the desire to establish this work was fulfilled when our current church house was built. This was the culmination of Bro. John’s work as the Lord called him home five months after moving into the building. The call and vision from the Lord remains the same today, to “Feed My Sheep”.
Through the planting and watering of the Seed, God has and is giving the increase. We believe that the theme of the gospel is Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the Same, yesterday, today and forever. We believe that according to Ephesians 5:27, that Christ is presenting to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish- We believe that this fellowship can only be found under the Blood of Jesus Christ, and the only way into the Body of Christ is to be born into it according to Acts 2:38 by a new birth.
We believe that God has restored His word today, through the prophetic ministry of Bro. William Branham, according to the promises in scripture; Amos 3:7, Malachi 4:5-6, Luke 17:30 and Rev.10:7 along with many more. It was promised in Zechariah 14:7 that at the evening time it shall be light, and we do realize that we are living in the evening time and the bride of Jesus Christ is making herself ready.
This body of Christ is a many membered body around the world, of which we maintain fellowship with and support various mission endeavors to spread this gospel to God’s people. It is our desire to provide you with the resources that God has given us in this day, and that you would feel His life changing presence when you visit.
May God richly bless you,
Bro. Daniel Stemen
